Extended aging on lees in large format seasoned French oak builds complexity and aging ability. Racked after 10 months and lightly filtered before bottling.
Tasting Notes: A beautiful balance of pink grapefruit, tropical papaya, and pineapple with green grass, nettle, and wet stone aromas. Crisp, lemon drop lolly flavours driving by a structure of vibrant acidity and cashew-spiced lees.

"Aromatic, pungent and enticing bouquet, classic aromas of fresh herbs and tropical fruits laced with citrus and jalapeno. On the palate and equally pungent wine with flavours that reflect the bouquet - lemon and grapefruit, apple and fresh herbs. There’s a crisp acid line and vibrant mouthfeel. A balanced and well made wine with a satisfying salivating finish." - Cameron Douglas MS, 92/100 points
"Certified organic, the characterful 2021 vintage (5*) was hand-harvested at Rapaura, fermented with indigenous yeasts in a large oak cuve, and matured on its yeast lees for 10 months in old French oak barrels. Bright, light lemon/green, it is full-bodied and dry, with concentrated, ripe, tropical fruit flavours, complex and savoury, and a crisp, tightly structured finish." - Michael Cooper, 5/5 stars
"Youthfully expressed and intensely aromatic, it's wonderfully fragrant on the nose with feijoa, kiwifruit, kaffir lime and white floral aromas. The palate delivers excellent fruit power and persistency, wonderfully supported by fine texture and bright acidity. Upfront and highly enjoyable. Certified organic." - Sam Kim, 93/100 points
