Description
Region: Omaka Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand
Tasting Notes: A lovely nose of elderflower, fennel, and fresh pineapple. On the palate a vibrant structure of acidity interlaced with enticing citrus notes and lees influenced cashew-spiced characters.
Winemaking: Hand-picked and whole bunch pressed from our hillside block. The juice was settled overnight before being racked to a Concrete Egg and seasoned French Oak puncheons where indigenous fermentation occurred. The wine was aged on lees for 7 months for texture and complexity. After settling it was lightly filtered before bottling.
