Description
Region: Rapaura, Wairua Plains, Marlborough, New Zealand.
Winemaking: Pinot Noir (81%), Pinot Blanc (9%), and Pinot Gris (10%) were harvested together on the same day from our Orchard vineyard. The grapes were gently pressed, and free run juice was settled overnight before being racked. The juice was inoculated with an aromatic yeast strain and undertook a long cool fermentation. Afterwards, the wine was aged on light lees for 6 months with light filtration before bottling.
Tasting Notes: Our Rosé is a lovely salmon hue in the glass. The wine has a nose of white blossoms, rock melon, and wild berries. On the palate it is vibrant and juicy, finishing with a gentle spice and refreshing length. This is the perfect wine to keep chilled and ready to share with summer fare and friends.
Technical: Alcohol - 13.0%. pH - 3.37. TA - 6.5. RS - Dry. Contains sulphites. BioGro certified organic and vegan friendly.
