Over the years she has taken on total responsibility for the accounting and statutory requirements of Rock Ferry Wines including the cellar door and all four of our vineyards. Nicky also handled and logistics and export functions for the company.
At the same time, she and husband Gavin raised three boys, managed a successful business providing fencing and irrigation for the wine industry, and have established a 16-hectare family vineyard in the Wairau Valley.
Nicky very much appreciates the opportunity Rock Ferry owners, Tom and Fiona, offered her back in 2011 which added to her previous business skill set and she has also enjoyed working with colleagues from all over the world throughout the years.
In 2021 Nicky relinquished some of her Rock Ferry responsibilities, we are delighted she has agreed to continue to look after the accounting needs of our four vineyards and take care of logistics for the export of our wine, a big task on it's own.
