‘Punching above our weight’ is a term often attached to our international sporting prowess. Here at Rock Ferry Wines, we are pretty proud of the accolades and awards we have received during the year. You could say ‘puncheons above our weight.’
At the recent New Zealand Organic Wine awards, we were awarded two gold and two silver medals. The 2021 Orchard Vineyard Pinot Rose also won a gold medal in the Alcohol Category at the NZ Artisan Awards.
Rock Ferry Wines was ranked in the Top Wineries in New Zealand by the Real Review. Rounding our 2022 successes, Qualmark NZ awarded us ‘Silver’ status in the Sustainable Tourism Business Category, an honour we are very proud to accept.
Our very successful monthly Twilight Market returned in early October last year and continues until March 8th, 2023. New this season is our Laid Back & Live with local musicians Chris Lake, Campbell Lauder, and jazz duo Pizazz, with the last session on February 25th from 1-4pm.
We also welcomed back our overseas visitors and cruise ship passengers once our borders re-opened. It has been a pleasure to once again have so many different languages being spoken as our visitors enjoy a glass of wine under the Marlborough sun.
