We are well and truly in the depths of our harvest now, with the team working day and night, and it is looking like it will be a fantastic vintage. Whilst we are almost finished picking the fruit in our two Marlborough vineyards, we are only just beginning in our Central Otago site. The beautifully hot & dry summer that we have had has produced some quality fruit, small berries with a concentrated flavour at a lower bricks than previous years. This, we are sure, will give some stunningly flavourful, well balanced wines.
Our Vineyard Manager is particularly excited about the Chardonnay, whereas our Winemaker is looking forward to our Sauvignon Blanc. Whichever is the favourite, our 2019 vintage will definitely be one to watch out for.
