We Say Farewell to Manuela Seufert, Cellar Door Supervisor
It is with a heavy heart, we bid goodbye to our Cellar Door Supervisor Manuela Seufert. Although she herself is quite petite, hers will be big shoes to fill.
Attracted by Rock Ferry’s organic status, Manuela originally joined the company in April 2015, initially working in the front of house and then later in the kitchen as well of the Rock Ferry Café, utilising her vast wine knowledge and love of food. In those days our current, purpose-built Cellar Door was still a dream on the horizon.
After a few years break, Manuela returned to the Rock Ferry family in October 2019. Her extensive knowledge and skills in both the wine and food industries have played a huge part in building the reputation that our new cellar door has achieved since opening in February 2020. Manuela has also been an integral part of the cellar door kitchen team in the last several years, as well as helping to establish and conduct our successful Vineyard & Tasting Tours.
After a very busy summer season this year, Manuela has made the decision to take a break so she can relax and devote more time to her favourite leisure activities. A yoga retreat is already booked and plans to travel to the countryside in her campervan will follow.
We wish Manuela all the absolute best for her future adventures. Go well, we will miss you and thank you for the wonderful contribution you have given to the Rock Ferry team.
